Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is an innovative, safe and drug-free technique used to promote tissue healing and manage pain inflammation. This therapy involves directing infra-red radiation into inflamed or damaged tissues, stimulating cell regeneration to accelerate the body’s natural healing process.

The laser is placed in direct contact with the skin in target areas which enables light photons to penetrate the tissue and interact with molecules within the cells to accelerate several biochemical effects known as photobiomodulation.

MLS Laser Therapy increases the temperature of the tissue, increasing vascular supply and soothing the area. It provides a boosted source of energy for the tissues cells to repair and grow. It also reduces pain, by lowering the transmission of pain signals from the tissue to the central nervous system.
